What is it exactly?

Hypertufa (pronounced hyper-toofa) is the term used for a type of artificial stone material that is made of several different aggregates and mixed with portland cement. Hypertufa has a weathered, natural stone look that will compliment your garden.

Hypertufa is relatively light compared with terracotta or traditional concrete and can still withstand harsh weather conditions. Being porous, it allows for easy passage of air to the root systems, excellent drainage, while being a reservoir for water as well. All of these are favorable for plant growth !

Available starting in June – with or without plants. I will be offering several different colors, types (round containers as well as troughs) and sizes.

Available locally at the West Jefferson Farmer’s Market & The Gateway Shoppes of  West Jefferson.  Available soon nationwide on!
